Strawberry Velvet Cocktail

The Strawberry Velvet is a visually stunning cocktail that balances rich, fruity flavors with a delicate, frothy finish. Its deep ruby hue and creamy top make it a perfect choice for elegant gatherings, romantic evenings, or simply indulging in a beautifully crafted drink. Garnished with a fresh strawberry, it’s as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate.​​

Ingredients​

  • 2 oz vodka or gin

  • 1 oz strawberry liqueur or fresh strawberry puree

  • 1/2 oz lemon juice

  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

  • 1 egg white (for froth)

  • Fresh strawberry, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Add the vodka (or gin), strawberry liqueur, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white into a cocktail shaker without ice.

  2. Dry shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds to emulsify the egg white.

  3. Add ice to the shaker and shake again until well chilled.

  4. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

  5. Garnish with a fresh strawberry on the rim.

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy the creamy, fruity experience.

💡Tips & Notes:

  • For a vegan alternative to egg white, use aquafaba (chickpea water) to achieve the same frothy effect.

  • Adjust sweetness by increasing or decreasing simple syrup to taste.

  • This cocktail pairs beautifully with light desserts or fresh berries.
